ORRELL ARCHERS NEWS FEB 2010 - UPDATE

Wigan Gun Club Closed 24th March 2010

The Target Sports Club are having work done in the shooting range on Wednesday, 24 March so we will not be able to shoot that evening. Kingsdown (Pembec) is closed for the Easter holiday from 29 March to 9 April.

The March Postal will be shot on Wednesday, 17 March, to allow time to send results in by the end of the month.

Outdoor shooting at Wigan RUFC starts on Friday, 2 April, but there will be indoor shooting at Wigan Target Sports Club on Wednesdays, 7 and 14 April, and one Friday indoors at Kingsdown (Pembec) on 16 April to compensate for the evening lost due to snow in January. Normal outdoor shooting will be Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays until the end of September.

The end-of-season indoor club competition will be on Wednesday, 7 April, at the Target Sports Club. Would last year’s winners please bring back trophies or return them before that date.

ROCHDALE INVITATION SHOOT
Rochdale CoA is offering a friendly shoot on Saturday, 17 April. The shoot is called a “St George” but there will be a variety of distances to suit all ages and abilities. Orrell Archers are invited and the cost is only £2. Entry forms from the Rochdale web site or Dorothy.
